        I once booked tickets to a show in London, but found out it was London, Ontario. Not London England, which is already about as far away as anything can be from where I live without crossing water.
        I contacted the organisers explaining I know the terms and conditions say no refunds unless the shows cancelled, but hear me out… I’m an idiot! Please please please give me my money back

        They replied saying they had a good laugh and gave me a refund.

    I’ve come to truly dislike London over about half a dozen visits. You wait forever to pay a lot for something very average, and the buzz of the city is a little hostile and up it’s own ass.

    My wife went without me recently for a two day spin and stayed in one neighborhood the entire time, so no long trips to go to a restaurant or theater anywhere she wouldn’t walk from where she was staying and she said it was much nicer of any previous experience, so maybe that’s the trick.
