Guns.
Lots of guns.
A tale as old as time by now
I’ve been working hard to make sure people in my neighborhood know who I am and that I’m not a threat to their way of life and only want them to succeed. Volunteering for local causes as well, and working on my cardio and general fitness.
That and practicing my shooting skills on rifle/shotgun/pistol.
Aim for the gut.
Aim for the legs … wounding combatants takes out the wounded person and whoever is going to help them. One leg removes two or three people from the event.
It’s the same logic behind grenades … they are designed to wound and maim, not kill.
You’re assuming these fucks have any empathy and would actually help each other as opposed to mindlessly following their initial orders.
I do not subscribe to that assumption.
Never aim for the legs. They’re too small relative to the torso and they’re constantly moving. Hellish to hit IRL.
Groin area, lots of things down their that don’t like getting shot but will still immobilize you. Also typically just as wide as the torso.

None of those will stop a glass bottle filled with a gasoline/ dish detergent mixture
What about energy weapons? Like laser/microwave/radiation/plasma/anti matter?

Unreasonable to use microwaves as weapons against people, but they could be used to disable cop cars, radios, and any other piece of electric they might rely on.
Not feasible for regular people to make. Also, a “heat ray” would probably use IR, not Microwaves.

What about a sword? If someone hypothetically tried to stab a wakizashi through the body armor, would it punch through? It’s always been my understanding that “bulletproof” armor functioned by dispersing the force of the bullet, but is it designed to do the same for bladed weapons?
Not sure about it but aren’t swords like wakizashi, katana and Co not primarily for cutting and slicing? Cutting is not really effective against body armor. Probably an old Zweihänder or longsword would be more effective, since they’re made for stabbing. But again, I could be wrong, misremembered something or both.
A buddy told me that the first 12ga slug should shatter many forms of armor plate, and then a second is usually fatal.
Realistically, plan A is to flee the country. But if they won’t let me, I ain’t goin’ to El Salvador.
Most yeah, but ICE seems leaning into having militarized gear and I wouldn’t put it past them expensing out level 4 armor or at least some plates to go in back.
Definitely look into friends, target practice, army training manuals. None of that is going to hurt if things go south.
Is the bullet proof vest supposed to be like a tanktop?
People used to be thinner when these things were first designed.
It’s only a plate carrier by the looks of it. No surrounding soft armour
It’s called a plate carrier, as the name implies it carries just a bullet proof plate that covers lungs and heart from the front and back. They are very useful if you have a lot of gear you need to also bring flash bangs, IFAC, ammunition etc. Sometimes they don’t even have the plate in them.
If you feel the need to cover up your face because you are afraid to get identified doing what you are doing, you probably shouldn’t be doing what you are doing.
Yes and no, there are very real reasons why it makes sense to cover ones face a protest even when for a good cause. The reason is usually that tyrannical governments and other morons will go after people for the horrible act of, uh, standing up for people.
The right view themselves as victims and no matter how absurdly wrong they are it does make sense why they would want their faces covered.
Ok … need some help here. On first glance I thought this was a tacticool gravy seal airsoft team. Who in the hell is dressed like this walking down a public street?
These are HSI (Homeland Security Investigation) agents from an ICE raid in San Diego on Friday: https://www.cbs8.com/article/news/local/community-leaders-federal-immigration-agents-raid-san-diego-restaurants/509-70ac20ee-ba70-4a42-beff-580ebb037426
Thank you helping with that. It just comes to show these clowns are all over the place.
I don’t recognize the logo on the square patch under the numbers on their upper arms, but I do think I have seen it before. So if you can find it, that will explain who thse guys are.
It was assumption as well, there’s no way these are actual agents. But then again who knows?
For one, no soldier is going into combat with a fucking 9mm carbine, let alone getting issued one.
Y’all ever watch the movie Civil War? That’s the US in a couple years with all this division.
Got thirty plans of hot slag ready to go
