Just walking barefoot through my yard on this early summer day, letting the sun warm my shoulders and the breeze carry birdsong across the grass.
The clover’s thick this year and there are patches everywhere like soft green confetti. I bent down after spotting a 4-leaf clover, feeling lucky already, but then I saw it. Nestled just beside it: a rare 5-leaf clover, tucked low like a secret.
I didn’t go looking for luck. I was just paying attention. That’s the thing. You slow down, take a breath, and you realize how much quiet beauty is hiding in plain sight.
I know Lemmy has a tough time holding on to anything positive. Feels like the world’s always on fire, like the bad’s louder than the good. But the good is there. It’s everywhere.
You just gotta stop scrolling and look around sometimes.
Nice!
Thanks! I didn’t even know 5-leaf clovers were a thing until I found one and then looked it up. lol
I didn’t either, that’s really freaking cool
