Anyone else here losing WiFi signal on their Pixel 8…?
Wasn’t doing it when I first bought it but seems like since 3-4 months ago that phone has been acting up :(
What does this have to do with linux phones?
D’hoe…posted on the wrong topic…my bad.
Strictly-speaking, the community sidebar doesn’t define what “Linux-based” is, and I suppose that someone could not-unreasonably expect “Linux phones” to include Android rather than just GNU/Linux-based phones.
@tal @yonder I wouldn’t call musl-based #postmarketos GNU/Linux either ;)
There’s a section with a list of linux mobile distros on the sidebar.
What are you running on yours? I was going to switch mine to Grapene but I have that awesome pink line in the screen and a repair is more than 50% of a new phone.
I had a green line on my screen. There is a problem with early pixel 8 / 8 pro screens and there is an extended warranty where they will replace it free. I don’t even think you need to be the original owner.

Mine took about a week after I filled out the paperwork and was approved. I got back my original phone with a new screen on it, same IMEI etc.
The latest Grapheme…
My only problem with WiFi on my pixel 8 is that if I leave my house and come back, I have to manually connect to my home wifi almost every single time; it won’t auto-connect for some reason.
Try toggling auto connect for specifically that network on and off. There’s a network that I had set to not auto connect, but sometimes it’d show it as on despite being off
