…and I’m sure the alarm will accomplish something this time. The past thousand or so alarm soundings with no action or results have all been flukes.

I’m waiting for the alarms to ever wake Americans up honestly. Easy to blame a party but seriously, will America ever wake up?

        will America ever wake up?

We recently elected one of the most vile humans to walk this earth, not in spite of, but because of his open malice. We’re not asleep. We see what’s happening, and most American voters can’t get enough of it, cuz we’re nearly as vile as the orange Nazi we just put in charge.

        So… no, probably not.

In a corrupt system, nothing is more important than money. Where money is power, if you have none, then you have none.

All these comments are making fun of Democrats for “sounding the alarm,” but what the fuck do you want them to do?

They can start by not rubber stamping the fascist political appointees that are doing these things, for starters.

And what’s next, fight for the people who elected them? Smh, damn entitled voters, wanting the opposition party to be an opposition! This is why Trump won!!1!1 /s

I want to see some actual opposition, none of this lip service they constantly think does anything. Real actions taken in congress, real obstruction, real anything. Dems blow so much hot air and then fold at the slightest hint of opposition

Voting is their job and the easiest thing they can do. The dems who visited the ICE camps at least appeared to care. The Dems are sauceless and wont allow any non-monied interests to touch their precious political process, which they are watching be dismantled in real time. The eight dem just died in office, too bad we cant let any younger, people into office.

Literally anything more than what they’re doing now. They cant vote, do some filibusters, and then cry why they haven’t made any progress. I want to see some civil disobedience in congress. I want to see some incivility. I want the Dems to grow a spine and wield power. Not stand stoically by, do performative or impotent actions, and then blame the voters for not voting hard enough.

Remember when Fetterman wore a Hoodie in congress and both parties enforced formal wear in congress? Or when Al Green was taken away for standing up, no one else did anything?

                I remember.

Define “we”. Dems do not have a majority in either the House or Senate, so there’s not really much they can do.

Republicans in minority: Gumming up the system, filibuster, make no concessions, forces the Democrats to work with them.

Democrats in minority: We’ve tried nothing and we’re out of ideas.

Maybe they don’t vote yes on Trump’s censorship bills? Maybe they refuse his cabinet picks? Just a thought they represent the people who voted them in. Wild idea, I know.

I don’t think voting in approval of KOSA, Trump’s cabinet picks, and pretending to vote No when you actually vote Yes is “voting against this shit”.

Yes, blame games are great, had nothing to do with the millions that voted the felon in… honestly he should be wearing orange as a shirt not as face paint but that would require consequences… and those only happen to poor folk

Maybe the universe thinks incarceration is too good for him and is willing to take things so far that people riot and slowly roasts him on a spit on the white house lawn.
