The Trump administration significantly cut funding for flood prevention projects in blue states across the country while creating new water construction opportunities in red states, undoing a Biden-era budget proposal that would have allocated money more evenly, according to a data analysis prepared by Democratic staffers.
What constitutes “real action taken in Congress” if not voting?
Literally anything more than what they’re doing now. They cant vote, do some filibusters, and then cry why they haven’t made any progress. I want to see some civil disobedience in congress. I want to see some incivility. I want the Dems to grow a spine and wield power. Not stand stoically by, do performative or impotent actions, and then blame the voters for not voting hard enough.
Remember when Fetterman wore a Hoodie in congress and both parties enforced formal wear in congress? Or when Al Green was taken away for standing up, no one else did anything?
I remember.
