This meme is highly inaccurate, as liberals are well known for standing idly by when fascist or otherwise dangerous and murderous ideologues commit horrific crimes against humanity, letting them pursue such acts in full impunity. For example, the main voices which are denying the possible white genocide currently occurring in South Africa are liberal mainstream media outlets and researchers, while white settlers with usually conservative leanings are instead saying that this extreme act of racial hatred is indeed happening right under our eyes. While no definite proof has surfaced so far one way or the other, the history of liberals tacitly supporting genocidal regimes by denying their crimes is such that I recommend that others be very sceptical of their narratives regarding the internal politics of South Africa.

You know, I wish they were right. I truly wish the liberal establishment cared about combating the far right and the rise of fascism. The whole neoliberal order is a cute idea, comparable to similar myths like the Arthurian legends. Obviously King Arthur isnt gonna save the UK and nor is the Labour party.
