Even easier if you have 2. One for clean and one for dirty, frees up cupboard space as well

Sorry but that machine is the sanitizer. I still have to WASH the dish before I put it in there.

It also just generally helps to put them in there immediately after use and not wait for all the stuff on them to dry and congeal into something stronger than concrete.

Which is what I would guess is a major source of hating dishes even for people with a machine: forgetting to do them in the first place so it’s worse when you finally do. 🤣

My MIL, bless her heart, is extremely picky about dishes being completely washed off before going in the dishwasher. And I mean completely. Any remnants of food need to be scrubbed off.

I wonder if she has or had one of the models with the filter trap? I thankfully have one with the composter thing but if I had to clean year old moldy spaghetti remnants out of a filter I can definitely see making that rule.

It’s a very nice modern dishwasher, I forget the brand… It had a drainage issue a couple years ago, I ended up finding one of those “snap-off” razor blade segments stuck in the drain pipe. No clue how it got in there. Other than that, it’s a solid machine.

              Also, your link is broken.
