Why is it all shots including beverages, you ask? Idunno, started with specific moments of Janeway and Sisko in mind, then it just sorta became a theme.
Working on a TNG supporting crew set. Feel free to make your own.
The same could be said about Section 31 as a whole.
That was the idea, yes
For Archer I can also imagine:
Rod Stewart’s “Faith of the Heart”
Chumbawumba’s “Tubthumping”
Katy Perry’s “Roar”
For Janeway the only song that comes to mind is Rage’s “Killing in the Name of” because fuck you she won’t do what you tell her.
Where Noonien? (/s:-P)
Imagine, if you will, a person who knows one (1) of these songs. Would you say that person was old? Would you think they’re out of touch? Or is it the children who are wrong?
Edit: 2, apparently.
“America, Fuck Yeah” should be pretty well known to young people. I mean the movie only came out in… Holy shit Team America is old enough to drink now…
I need to lie down.
That is some high quality birdswitharms content.
It the video that introduced me to birdswitharms as an art form
I wondered myself and had the same reaction.
2 of these tracks are from this century, so it kinda skews the premise. Throw them away as outliers. What remains suggests at least Millennial or further back. Could also be one categorized as an “old soul” with eclectic taste in music. Now, if you’d turn down that racket and kindly get off my lawn so I can nap before bingo.
(Says the Xennial with weird musical preferences.)
Just looking up the first row of artists, I am seeing a different trend that probably explains my ignorance:
- Khaled Mohammed Khaled, known professionally as DJ Khaled, is an American DJ
- Ella Mae Morse was an American singer
- Dion and the Belmonts were an American vocal quartet
And Lorca?
Noice.
(i know that one! yaaaay!)
somehow, inexplicably, “Down Under” by Men at Work.
