Did anyone else take a look at the sky and wonder if Sunday’s promised rain was going to arrive a bit early? Rain on Sunday now at 90% chance.
There were some ominous looking clouds before but it’s cleared up where I am. My garden needs a drink bad.

I’ve been taking advantage of the windy hot weather to tackle Mt Washmore. I’ve also just made a Bolognese. What else did I do today? Oh yeah I learnt to play Ludo, which turns out to be Miniest’s favourite game. I can see why, I have to admit I kind of liked it. I’ll have to have another match this evening after dinner.

Scrabble frustrates me. I consider myself to be an articulate person with a reasonable vocabulary, but I routinely fail dismally where Scrabble is concerned 🤔

I started winning when I realised the aim is to score points and win, not make fancy words
doing lots of crosswords also really helped me to make words in a matrix
I need to practise it more, but it reaches a point with me where it becomes a grim, serious exercise and I stop enjoying it. Think I’ll stick to Ludo lol.
I compete with myself ( if you get what I mean ) and how other people play is a joy to me. And once the game is over it’s over. It’s all in fun. 🙂

I still haven’t been able to get the donations down but packed them into boxes. I’m hoping to shift those next week and get some space back. Melbcat got stressed out by the activity so I stopped and we’re doing phone in bed. Cuddles are required to relax.
One load of washing is done and I’m doing another. Then there’ll be another basket of folding to do on top of the one already there 😑 The chances aren’t great today.

Cleaned out the garage, no sign of dead rodent. I’m guessing it’s somewhere above the ceiling and below the roof and the smell is coming through. Or possibly inside where the roller door spins. So just have to wait it out. Kinda concerning, I hope this isn’t a start of a bigger problem. On the bright side, garage is now clean and tidy!

lol, I was going to dig a hole to try and find a leak today next to some pipes, but realised getting anyone in to fix my very likely fuck up… decided against it.
