Keep pushing him until he starts saying slurs out loud, hopefully during a debate or something like that. That’d be hilarious

MAGA types like the Republicans because of their bigotry. This won’t deter anyone, except perhaps a few waverers. But how many are wavering after all these years of seeing exactly what Trump is about?

You know, I used to ask myself that too. Until the 2020 election, where Trump got more votes than any candidate in history save one- the man who beat him. After blowing up the economy and killing Americans with COVID and tanking our international standing, more Americans decided to vote for him than the first time.

Never underestimate the gobsmacking stupidity of American voters. Apparently some voters are like cicadas: they only emerge once every four years to vote, and have no recollection of what’s happened since the last election, so they can be temporarily persuaded to support either candidate. Some of those people will think that Trump’s bigotry is too far.

There’s people like my moms who generally think they align with republicans because they think democrats will make them poor to make the poor rich. But they won’t vote republican because of homophobia. Seemed like Trump was trying to distance himself from homophobia for a little bit, so stuff like this will continue to keep votes away. I don’t think they’d vote for Trump regardless, but if they noticed the attempt at pandering followed by overt homophobia, it could continue keeping people rightfully distrustful of republicans for decades.

It wouldn’t stop anyone from voting for him who have already decided.

It actually might make a segment of the population like him more.

Debating on whether he drops an N, B, or C first…
