Just received a simple ultracheap drone from China and couldn’t be happier. It flies (a little crappy)! It films (like a super old phone, but still)! Gonna use it to get my bearings while havigating on my bike through unknown places - love to have some eagle view!
are you still enjoying it and can I see what sort of photos it takes? ive been thinking about getting one myself and would love to know how youre finding it.
It’s quite fun, however, it’s more of a toy than anything.
Controls are not accurate enough to say I actually rule this thing - no matter how much you calibrate, it will strafe, and the problem will only exacerbate if you never used a drone before (like me). Headless mode is helpful, though.
Photos are…uh…if you want a drone for photos, this clearly ain’t it. When I said “like a super old phone”, I meant it. Enough to get my bearings, sorta, but nothing else.
