His talk was meant for Chinese ears. You know, THE largest polluter in absolute terms on the planet? The one that is permitting and building Coal Fired Power Plants faster than every other nation on earth combined? They are effectively building two new ones every damn week!

As for “sorting out your cunts” the US hasn’t built a new coal fired plant in a decade. We’ve also decommissioned nearly %50 of the existing ones and another 30% will be gone by 2029. We have work to do for sure but you are being ridiculous.

I’m a bit out of the loop. Haven’t watched the debate, haven’t watched or read about it yet. What happened?

Called climate change a hoax and said us needs to frack, drill, and mine coal. Yes that is right he even went out of his way to include coal. You can likely find the sinppet on youtube if you use his name and climate change. It was insane.

China, India, Indonesia, Japan and Vietnam are building new coal fired power plants. China is by far the most important consuming over half the worlds coal today. They are also building the most plants, whereas especially Europe and the US are shutting down theirs over the years. So the US is in a position to lobby for less coal to hurt China and we all know the current problems both of them have right now.
