I got something similar after my cat but my hair has grown out a LOT since I came out and am thinking of getting it redone
just sharing pretty hair ideas, I’m open to opinions if you have any recommendations or knowledge I should know :)

Anyway for the hair, this is coming from someone who doesn’t dye her hair for many reasons so take this with a grain of salt. It’s kinda pretty if a little odd, but all I saw when I first looked at the pic was “Oooooh the upkeep, yikes.”
The other thing is that I feel like pictures of hair color always show it as the prettiest, glossiest, straightest hair, and is that really realistic to how it will look day-to-day?
Its absolutely possible; pictures of unsecured animals in vehicles (or, as my driving instructors referred to anything unsecured, shrapnel) are annoying.

I love multi-coloured streaks in hair, personally. It’s increasingly popular here and it’s so nice to witness.
In the '90s we just called these chunky highlights. I’m a fan! But unfortunately my hair doesn’t respond well to bleaching. :(

so fucking cute, but I’m not sure I would want to actually commit to getting my hair bleached and then dyed to make it happen (my hair is pretty dark)
maybe when I get enough gray / white hair it will be more multi-toned like this, but it probably won’t look as nice 😅
Looks super fucking cute! My main worry would be if I wanted to keep it, how bad is the maintenance? Assuming dark hair, most of the color looks like it could be handled just by doing a lift and maybe some rounds of purple shampoo to help tone out any excessive yellowing, but I’d be worried about growth causing patchiness to the upper layers and needing to get another round of bleaching done too often.
Yep it’s on the top so it’ll show roots. What can help is changing the parting as it grows, if the streaks are in the right place I reckon that will work
