This new Ironsworn-Starforged Bundle presents Ironsworn, Starforged, and Sundered Isles, tabletop roleplaying games of perilous fantasy, space opera, and seafaring adventure by Tomkin Press. Ironsworn and Starforged both adapt Powered by the Apocalypse mechanics to support no-prep pickup play in three modes: solo, co-op without a gamemaster, and GM-guided. Iron vows drive your characters, giving direction and purpose. Random tables called "oracles" let you shape the big picture: what is this site like? who lives here? what foes must I face? Then when you zoom in and 'envision' a scene, Apocalypse-style moves let you play out challenges with surprises, setbacks, and triumphs. Craft your worlds on-the-fly, rolling or picking elements to shape your own settings exactly as you like. These popular RPGs have become mainstays for solitaire actual-play streamers such as Trevor Devall (Me, Myself, and Die!) and Matt Risby's The Bad Spot.

From what I’ve read, the system sounds interesting. It’s cool that this bundle contains a bunch of settings, too bad Cybersworn is not in

    About urban stuff, the author said something called Crucible:

    A fair bit leaner than SI. I’d like to build a few supplements that flesh out various aspects of Starforged.

    Rough plans for this one (all very subject to change)

    • Build a canonical megacity (the titular Crucible) for your version of the Forge or other sci-fi setting
    • Oracles for city locations and encounters
    • Some additional oracles for NPCs, as befits a populous setting
    • City factions
    • Guidelines for urban chases & chase oracles
    • Guidelines for building a reputation
    • Vehicle guidelines/specs
    • Cyberware/augment guidelines
    • Moves for city traversal
    • Mission generators
    • Troupe-based play as members of a criminal/insurgent faction
