    I remember the west be like “China Bad” when they did the Real ID thing, but now apparantly this is okay? Reminds me of the Samsung-Apple Rivalry (removing headphone jack, then removing the charger).

    Do the laws say you need to store this after verification? I mean a one time verification on account creation would work?

      I dont know that but i know that the law has to be compatible with the data protection laws of the EU of which one this is “data has to be deleted as soon as there is no valid reason to keep it”
