      Old Soviet Joke.

Two agents meet in a bar in Germany on the eve of the collapse of the Berlin Wall. The CIA agent says to the KGB agent, “Why do you continue to support the Soviet Union? You have no freedom in your country. Come to the United States. In our country, we can criticize our leaders. I can say ‘Death to Ronald Reagan’ and nobody will stop me.”

The KGB agent shakes his head, smiling. “Why would I want to travel all the way to America in order to say that? In Moscow, we also say ‘Death to Ronald Reagan’ whenever we please.”

Another one: A CIA agent and a KGB agent meet at a bar after talking for a while the KGB agent says to the CIA agent „You know one thing we really admire back in the USSR is your propaganda it’s really top notch“ the CIA agent looks confused and asks, „What propaganda?“

It’s interesting, because Americans will be laughing at an entirely different interpretation of the joke, like “lol the Soviets think American reality is American propaganda because our lives are so great.”
