The Israeli army killed a disabled Palestinian man in a targeted strike in southern Gaza at the end of May, claiming he was identified as a “terrorist.”

I am not an expert but I dont think thats accurate. They think their god will judge them based on their intentions and life, and suicide WILL be held against you in your judgement, but being whole of body will not.
Martyrdom for the benefit of the community or Allah is also not held against you, and is not considered suicide.

That said the number one rule in Islamic burial is no cremation like… A bomb is incineration. It’s not a total bar but if you believe in such things you’d be having conversations trying to justify why you are the way you are. Getting disassembled is probably a pretty good excuse but still.

Yeah but afaik that’s just a rule for burying people, ie no mutilation. Death by dismemberment and explosion (or any post death mutilation) doesn’t disqualify you from heaven in any particular way in Islam.
