The classic refrain… Unfortunately for you, people are starting to recognize (again) that this is bullshit and Nazis have no place in society.

Not sure what is unfortunate for me here? The thing is that here are still a lot of semi-nazi’s who can be shown the evil of the new nazism. I know being centrist isn’t a hot take in the US but furthering the already huge amount of polarisation is not gonna help US citizens long term. I believe a pope should be working for the greater good. Him speaking up against Trump definitely is working for the greater good, but organising an event in the same city on the same date is a childish power play if you ask me.

So, the typical centrist take, “let’s just roll over and let the fascists do what they want without getting in their way, otherwise they might not like us. Things are absolutely shit, but don’t fight back or try to make things better, let’s just settle for this level of shit to live in and be happy with it, when the boat rocks it scares me.”

          Fucking coward.

How would allowing Trump to reach the widest possible audience work toward the greater good?

Chicago and Washington DC are different cities. Are you contending the Pope shouldn’t come to the US if the President has something planned?
