I don’t know if it’s nationwide, but I saw this at a hobby lobby yesterday and couldn’t pass it up. I got an MG Jegan and with the discount it became the cheapest MG I’ve got. It seems like a great discount, but I think it works out to being MSRP or slightly less.
I did the math last time I bought a kit there and I believe it was around 25% off the price of most other western retailers.
Also FYI, they run this sale on model kits every other week. You can check the Weekly Ad section of their site to see if they’re running it.
As far as the store itself, I understand and agree with people not liking them, but I also understand people having budgets and grabbing discounts where they can. I’ll leave it up to each individual to decide on whether to go or not.
