WASHINGTON (AP) — Elon Musk is leaving his government role as a top adviser to President Donald Trump after spearheading efforts to reduce and overhaul the federal bureaucracy.
His departure, announced Wednesday evening, marks the end of a turbulent chapter that included thousands of layoffs, the evisceration of government agencies and reams of litigation. Despite the upheaval, the billionaire entrepreneur struggled in the unfamiliar environment of Washington, and he accomplished far less than he hoped.
He also previously said he’s not going to donate to Trump. This is just a PR stunt, we must continue to up the pressure against Elon Musk. Keep boycotting Tesla, keep boycotting Twitter, boycott Starlink if you can (maybe if you are just on the edge of cell phone reception a parabolic antenna could help you switch to fixed wireless or 5G internet which would likely be cheaper and faster than Starlink). The stock was recently above $360, now it’s down to about $346 at the time of writing, I can’t predict the future but my feeling is that it will fall and eventually not ever come back up this high so if you or someone you know is holding Tesla stocks it will likely be a good time to divest.
“please start buying my cars again!”

hey, the vw bug got big. maybe elon just needs to kill himself, too.
The VW bug got big because it was a decent car at an affordable price.
Neither of these hold true for Tesla.
Yah, I’ll start believing he’s not in when his pallbearers carry him out. Otherwise it’s performative separation.
Like people are going to forget what a twat he is
He needs to leave the planet.
He got the information he needed, destroyed the departments that were investigating him. He’s good.
Whatever, he already got all our private info…his mission was accomplished.
Self driving cars in six months, $25,000 car next year. AI and robots.
Aww, did the honeymoon finally end?
I wonder why he fell out with them
