Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood said so-called chemical castration would be used in 20 prisons in two regions and that she was considering making it mandatory.

Why? Just get the scissors out. But then what would they do with all the testicles? Maybe do a DNA study to see if there’s a thing to cure? Maybe a museum? Just a couple of ideas. I guess chemical is fine. Removes the problem.

You’re seriously good with the possibility that you might get snipped if someone accuses you of something you didn’t do after a night out drinking?

I don’t think you’ve truly thought through the ramifications or possibility that this might one day directly and personally impact you. You’re doing the “it’s common sense innit just deal with em bruv” shit and actively preventing yourself from thinking about it beyond that.

I know you’re not ok with that outcome. Think about it some more. You can’t hold this position without that outcome being a possibility.

The castration part. I think many of us have atoned to the fact that someday a poop will punch us and rape us. But not castration. That’s one level lower than we’re at right now. Maybe just jail the guy or come up with a medical fix other than you know. Like why go there.
