Stay classy, UEFA…

As always, UEFA can’t seem to get even the simplest of things right, like… you know… counting and having a few spares just in case.

The European governing body said the clubs had been informed that only 30 medals would be presented on stage to each club.

Tottenham sent more players than they should have, Kinsky wasn’t even registered for the tournament lol

As funny as it is that the first trophy Spurs gets in 14 years and first real trophy in 40 years doesn’t even get respected enough to have medals on hand for all the players, this sounds like it is on Spurs… which I guess is also funny, since they can’t even be successful when they win.

While true, any organisation should always calculate with at least 10% safety net in my opinion. Obviously UEFA had several more medals on site and didn’t mind providing them to all of the players later. It would have cost them literally nothing extra to have an extra few medals in the box, just in case.
