The Germans are claiming the laws forces them to censor anti Israeli speech. You cannot say they are Nazis (apparently the Germans patented that) and you cannot call for the end of Israel as a state.
According to them, disolving a nation-state is the same as killing everybody. The goal is to imply that if it wasn’t for Israel the genociders would be the genocidees. It’s a form of denial. “It was self defense”
