Driving around with yield signs glued on all sides and driving around like there’s a force bubble around your car
I just thought of a new bit idea: hanging signs on your bumper to cause Teslas to go haywire. As far as I know, it’s legal to put a stop sign or 100 MPH sign on your car in most states because they’re obviously not real. But a Tesla sees a sign about “school zone, speed limit 25” on the highway? Something really, really funny could happen.
Hell, this might be standard gear for bicyclists.
Mine was fully useless joke, but this is the use case we’ve been looking for.
years of doing captchas for big tech defeated by one simple trick
“HOW DID I GET HERE?”
I would think this kind of potentially adversarial example wouldn’t be particularly dangerous as compared to say, a stop sign hanging in the middle of a rear window or a speed limit sign suspended slightly above the back of another vehicle, so frankly, shadows cast on speed limit signs that make 3s look like 8s are a lot scarier (and more widespread) imo… not that this helps lol
I need a spring-loaded quarter scale stop sign with a handle to wave around when I see any tesla
That would probably get you pulled over, but if you knew a thing or two about the vision models the cars are running, you could probably get a mostly-innocuous-looking (to a human) image to trigger all sorts of weird detections by the model

for example, but with a tweak in the attack’s objective function and printed on a decal to be applied to the rear window
This is good, I have a big qr code printed on one of my helmets that used to fuck with LPR scanners but it’s surely been patched by now
