    I started one because I liked the movies I had seen. My old roommate was from India, and he introduced me to them. A lot of the stunts and CGI feel like something out of the '80s. I also had the impression that many of the love stories were supposed to be better than Western ones. At the time, I was watching movies daily with someone and needed to try something new after running out of ideas, especially after seeing too many movies about Nazis. We were watching films from the '40s and '50s at the time.

    I also started a B-movie community, but there’s an identical one on another instance that is much more active and better managed.

    Anyone can make a community.

    It doesn’t mean people will engage with it.

    I literally just blocked one today I saw on /all, because I have zero interest in that topic.
