Seeing so much AI generated content shared to me by my parents, online in reviews, in my curriculum in school, and in comments has taken such a toll on my brain that I can recognize it immediately despite rarely using ChatGPT

If you go through that user’s other reviews, while they are very funny, they’re also very AI generated. Tons of contrivances and the classic “and honestly?”

They were almost all posted on April 13th, and they all drop the “brand name” of the product in just really unnatural ways. This is 1,000% a bot.

Do go visit the profile though. The sex toy reviews are pretty funny.

If you want some quick examples of how this is obviously AI:

Yup. On Amazon, always do three things:

          • Sort reviews by most recent, go to the end, and make sure the reviews are for the same product snd it wasn’t switched (report it if so)
          • Search reviews for the brand name, skip AI garbage and see how many people say it or are Vine reviews
          • Read filtered on critical reviews

Thanks for confirming this. I’m atrocious at recognizing AI and thought I was just overthinking these reviews because there were a lot of em dashes

Lolllll I use the em dash trick too, but some people do just love using them—I definitely went through a phase myself.

I have one kinda like that, but it doesn’t swoop up at the end, and I can confirm it’s amazing.

I bought this scoop, the review is absolutely correct: it’s solid as fuck and slices through ice cream like a hot knife through butter

Saving this comment in case I am ever in a position in my life where I need a good ice cream scoop.

who the fuck scoops ben&jerry? it’s soft (unless you let it melt and then re-freeze it) and not a particularly large package, it’s something you eat with a spoon not serve to others!

I worked at a Ben and Jerry’s “factory”, so I’m a bit of an expert, and there is something wrong with yours. Either your freezer is not turned high enough or your BJ dealer is not reputable, but those pints freeze solid af if you get em cold, and solid af is just the way I like my BJs

I’m in Aus and Ben and jerries is not soft, unless it’s the whipped ice cream which is super soft. The normal flavours bend my non-preffered spoons as much as golden north does.

An aside: I found it funny that the Amazon site in your link popped up a captcha to make sure I was not a web crawler or AI trying to steal their data.

I have those. The reviewer is absolutely correct on all counts. Literally life changing, or at least morning run changing. I work out harder because I’m not afraid of my ear buds falling out. No more panicking because a bud almost followed a clown down a storm drain. I’ve had them five or six years and they are still as good sounding, fast charging and long battery life’d as the day I met them. If you think you might have a use for them, get them.
