Ethnic Genocide is now fully Normalized in Israel.
In some ways this is actually beyond Nazi Germany, were the actual perpetrators of the genocide did not make a public show of their murdering of the people they saw as untermenschen.
This kind of thing is a pretty good indication that there is far broader acceptance (glee, even) amongst the Israeli population for Genocide than there was amongst the German population in Nazi Germany.

Ok, so that was horrifying that they treated it so lightly, but this headline seems slightly inaccurate.
It seems they were not blowing it up for a ‘gender reveal’, but instead were blowing it up otherwise and something in the building produced blue smoke, and they found the resemblence hilarious.
OK, that’s somewhat callous, but I think almost any nation’s soldiers would make that same joke.
Al Jazeera must have updated/corrected it. The title of the post was the original headline.

A lot of times soldiers when they come back from war have a lot of post-traumatic stress and they end up drinking a lot and they have a high suicide rate. So when the war ends it really doesn’t. They just bring it back home. And Israel is on the verge of a civil war. So all the mistakes of that society will come back and blow up in their face. We just have to be patient. I really question if the state of Israel is going to last. I mean, a lot of people in the United States despise Israel, and they will isolate themselves from the rest of the world and be notoriously known as terrible tourist. So they’ll be discriminated against and shunned. Justice will be served eventually. The United States really at the end of the day is just using them as a proxy. They think they’re controlling us, but we are using them to control our population for our imperialist endeavors. And just like Ukraine, we’ll throw them in the gutter, because these are all just dildos of empire. What you do overseas will come back to you and me. The imperialist boomerang effect. We just live in dystopic times and we just have to realize that the world we live in is not the same and so our likes and dislikes need to change. Our habits, our patterns, our hobbies. You name it. We’ve got to start thinking locally. Stop giving corporations money, get a hobby, be productive, stuff like that.

don’t mix up the Israeli people and the Israeli state
Not all Jews are Nazis but the whole state of Israel could be compared to fascist Germany. This is a neo liberal take the humanizes the oppressor. This is why I don’t bat a eye when the Palestinians went full on Nat Turner
More than half the Israeli people actively support the state. There were more protestors against the rule change that would’ve stopped rape as being used against prisoners than there have been against the genocide.
The Israeli people, at the very least, are Nazi civilians. I’m sure there’s a few good ones in there. Hopefully they find a country to live in that doesn’t require genocide to function.
The Israeli people have either been supportive of the regime, or just too milktose to do anything about it.

Group think and social pressures. It is remarkably easy for humans to find themselves behaving like those around them. The progression doesn’t even have to be fast. Imagine that when the israeli military fought wars in the mid 20th century, they started thinking of the enemy around them, and then imagine how long it has been since then with no corrective measures ever taken on those lines of thinking. NOW add in that israel has mandatory military service. The ones who choose to stay are going to be the ones that can agree and fit in with those now very evolved thoughts of hatred, and of course they will bring their own worse additions as they try to prove themselves to those the esteem, the already putrid military members ranked above them.
