In a time honoured tradition, an American president has thrown another country’s election.
This time by installing Anthony Albanese as Australia’s Prime Minister, by making everyone too scared to vote for Peter Dutton.
The expert strategy for the US was focused around them fucking up their own economy and freaking out Aussies into voting for anyone who doesn’t remind them of Trump.
The liberation of Australia went so well that not only did the threat to civilisation’s party lose, he also lost his seat.

The next New Zealand general election will be held after the current 54th New Zealand Parliament is dissolved or expires. The current Parliament was elected on Saturday, 14 October 2023. The last possible date for the election to be held is Saturday, 19 December 2026.
Hmmm.
Cool fact, what does it have to do with Australia?
The point is probably that Trump’s influence has led to conservative losses in two recent elections (Canada and Australia) and arguably contributed to the AfD loss in Germany, so hopefully New Zealand goes the same way.
Yeah, but that’s like one and a half year from now, isnt it?
Trump’s term is four years, and he ain’t getting any better.
