• it is such a fractious coalition, with the major fault line being between tech billionaires and the evangelical weirdos who regard the former as literal servants of the devil. but even that simple divide has countless fault lines within… the ever-evolving Q conspiracy brains, the fintech bros, the largest legacy capital formations (Finance, Insurance, Real Estate).

      I don’t know that any publicity-embracing personality in the field today can capture even 80% of those movements and withstand whatever sort of weird vetting processes they will use to prove the heir.

      trump will literally have to pick someone and say, “this is the guy” to have a shot at holding something together, and he seems to be completely opposed to doing that, recognizing it would diminish his grip over his cloying coterie and the project itself.

      it’s going to be weird as shit to see various personalities try to establish themselves as the next phase, only to be outdone by how Democrats will completely blow any opportunity to do anything significant.
