If they have criminal records, doesn’t that mean they’ve been convicted of crimes? Meaning that they did in fact face consequences?
Or how does that work exactly?
I’m assuming the “no consequences” part means visa not being revoked. And now they’ll get visas revoked. But I’m not sure.
Oh right, so the “no consequences” part is just another lie then. Thanks for clearing that up!
I actually have no idea. I’m not part of the administration; I also didn’t write the article. So you’ll probably have to research it.
Cool!
It’ll be interesting to see how this works out, because 4,000 is a lot if true. Any thoughts @svc@lemmy.frozeninferno.xyz and @Node@lemmy.wtf

Do you mean me personally? Why would I get deported? Besides the fact that I’m a law-abiding citizen, I was born and raised here.
Are you seriously wishing people would get deported? That seems like a terrible thing to wish for.
Please take some time for self-reflection, try to be kinder, and refrain from personal attacks. Please see Rule 1 in sidebar.
Don’t you want other people deported?
I wouldn’t wish that on anyone unless they were violent criminals. Why would you?
