Makes me wonder what these conservatives are doing in the bathroom? I’m there to take a leak and couldn’t care less who’s in the stall next to me or what plumbing they have.

Makes you wonder if we could start petitions to put urinals in the women’s restroom, for post op trans guys. I mean it’s fine right, according to transphobes and TERFs they’re women, and they can pee standing. I reckon it’s their right.

Conservatives don’t want you to exist. All other arguments they put forward are just soft-pedaling to that end goal.

Yeah in Joanne’s Twitter comments whenever anyone brings up the obvious, that men like him are going to go to the women’s room, the retort is almost always that “This is why gender ideology must be eliminated”. It’s just genocide. It’s not fancy, it’s not about safety or fairness or equality. It’s just a meandering nonsense illogical dialog with a predetermined end goal, genocide.

Bro is more masculine looking than me by half, handsome to boot, and has very piercing eyes. Maybe they don’t want him in the men’s room because they will feel inferior or sexually confused (again).

Forced detransition is one part of it. The other is just forcing all cis women to adhere very strictly with female gender roles. Wouldn’t want anyone thinking you’re trans, better grow your hair out, wear a full face of make up, wear skirts every day, wear feminine colors, and carry yourself to enforced feminine social standards (can’t be too loud men have such booming voices after all, can’t stand up to men because women are afraid of men right, can’t stand or sit too in too masculine a way women always have their legs together, etc).

Cause if someone thinks you’re trans you’ll get the tar kicked out of you, possibly even thrown in jail. They’ll just accuse you of having a fake drivers license and having had bottom surgery. Gender non-conformity is a legitimate liability in places with biological gender essentialist laws about bathrooms.

I love the sentiment - but does anyone know if it’s real? Or who the original poster is? @ickplant posts a lot of… borrowed content… I mean it’s great content - but I sure don’t trust the veracity. Fact checking and due credit matters - even on ‘feel good’ stuff.

That’s not at all weird. First off, you are assuming that their arguments are in good faith. I’ll give you a way to always know when their arguments are in bad faith: They’re conservatives. It’s the only arguments they have. Second, they want you in the women’s bathrooms and locker rooms so that they can gang up and kick your ass because you are clearly a man. That’s the whole reason.

Or to hide away at home so that they don’t have to explain to their children that sometimes other people do stuff that isn’t your business.

Nah the kids are strictly an excuse of convenience. So much of conservative antipathy toward gay, queer, trans, etc people amounts to ‘get back in the closet so that I can forget that people who are different than me exist.’ They are willing to heap a lot of hate, discrimination, etc upon other people just so they don’t have to be a little uncomfortable occasionally. Pretty much any time someone drops a ‘Won’t someone please think of the children?!’ what they mean is ‘I hate this but I can frame it as being about protecting children so I don’t look like a hateful bastard.’

Well it might also make the women inside feel uncomfortable, which is a bonus. Now more people are uncomfortable about the issue, so they can further drive wedges.
