    Dad worked for Exxon for 30 years. He used to joke that the company had a big switch at the back of the main office that read “Oil” on one side and “Green Energy” on the other. As soon as green energy registered as more profitable by the bean counters in accounting, he promised some guy would come running into the room and flip the switch.

    It appears that time is now.

      I like the way your dad thought. I’ve always held the same suspicions he had thought. These companies aren’t married to oil, they’re married to profit. Makes sense.
