Took the ol’ girl to two sub-specialists today. Because ol’ boy worked with these dudes we just walked in, out, just a nod of the head no charge shoulda been $300 or so a pop.
Last time I broke some bones cost me $300 to get into emergency only to tell me they weren’t broken when they were. Then heaps more $ for scans (they were broken).
The whole thing was just completely waived and not an eyelid blinked.
I don’t get that teatment :( I has to pay for the silly things I do.
My mum’s got a gold card. She still feels guilty when she uses it. “Oh yeah mum you’re really living the high life when you get your toenails clipped for free once a month”.

That’s good, your mum deserves to catch a bit of a break. Long waits and medical bills can be so stressful
