You think too simply of the way the world works. There has to be someone protecting information in the news and online. Otherwise bad actors will spread their disinformation and make people believe ridiculous stuff.

That someone that protects has a difficult but important job. That someone is not one person. It’s people delegated by the european parlement.

I can dumb it down a bit more if you need. But it might not be as accurate anymore

Europe isn’t known for hiding a tiananman square

yes 1.5 billion chinese don’t know their own recent history despite thousands of Beijingers being present around the protests (and thousands of out-of-town soldiers) and Li Peng meeting with the protesters on live TV. Of course. We whites are just much more enlightened and aware of the goings-on in the world, eh? The Chinese government has declassified documents related to the clearing of the square https://www.gov.cn/zwgk/2011-11/09/content_1989024.htm and released them in Chinese but nobody in China knows that Chinese website exists, thankfully there’s europeans who know where to find it to spread the truth.

Hey quick question, have you ever heard of the Spartacist uprising?

Now who’s living under a rock? Ali Abunimah was arrested in Switzerland after getting lawfully into the country.

Asa Winstansley in the UK in 2024. Richard Medhurst in 2024 and again in Vienna 2025.

Now link to journalists being arrested in China since you’re so confident. And, please, actual journalists. Not this guy https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1dpv6yqqvgo

Oh, so now I’m a simpleton who should just shut up and let my overlords decide what’s best for me. Fuck off.
