Okay, if Zoey wants to have a pet rock, fine. No issue there. And heck it’s even nice of the people of Sesame Street to amuse her belief it’s alive. But why does Elmo have to be put out to accommodate a rock? That’s not really fair to Elmo, he has to be deprived of cookies and getting to say the number of the day for a rock which doesn’t even have a mouth?

I’m all for entertaining Zoeys imaginative expressions but there are limits here!
