It’s a watchlist, not a task force. The scope is to inform international travelers of dangerous destinations, not make those destinations less dangerous.
The US could start killing tens or hundreds of thousands methodically with no due process.
The Europe would not attack.
Certainly this new Russia wouldn’t, either. China wouldn’t. The rest of East Asia, the Middle East and Africa wouldnt. Australia and Canada wouldn’t. Some of South America might give a half assed attempt, if El Salvador were to be a huge death camp host.
Okay? What are the watchlist people going to do about that? They’re the diagnostician, not the surgeon. There are multiple different organizations in the world which do different things, it doesn’t make sense to blame an organization for not doing the things outside the scope of their power. They’re there to warn people and they’re warning people. Where’s your task force? No one’s going to swoop in to save us, this is on us.
I don’t even like communists. I just hate how liberals handle these things. Or rather, how they don’t handle these things at all.
But I mostly hate that nuclear deterrence also effectively acts as a free Holocaust card, which means anti fascism has to come from within. But right now, their citizens are a little too far away from sufficient to drown the fascists out.
It shouldn’t have gotten to this point. They shouldn’t have elected Trump again. Noe that Trump’s 2nd administration is real and acting, it’s a huge problem that not enough people are laying on the brakes and stopping the enemy.
That’s what I’m saying though. It’s easy to say “Hey, this is a problem that needs to be addressed”. It’s a lot harder to address that problem. People aren’t laying on the brakes because brakes don’t just materialize from the aether by magic right when they’re needed most. You have to harvest the raw rubber, vulcanize it, shape it into a pad, affix that pad to a caliper, wrap that assembly around a rotor, connect that assembly to some kind of actuator, connect that actuator to some kind of control mechanism, connect that mechanism to the brake pedal. These things take time, effort, and organization. Denigrating the collision sensor isn’t helping.

we can be the task force
All available evidence suggests otherwise.
Not just can, we have to be.
Yeah.
There is no tssk force, is my point.

All liberals are diagnosticians.
There are no liberal surgeons.
Not seeing a whole lot of leftist surgeons around here either, so.
Yep.
