I often see people giving others flack for switching to Proton because their CEO etc.
But any step in the right direction should be praised, Proton etc. Is far from perfect, but it’s so much better then never moving away from Google / Microsoft etc.
I believe all mechtastic channels are encrypted, it’s just that the default channel’s key is preloaded so that everyone can use it as a “public” channel.
The CEO was saying that Trumps pick to help fight big business was great, not that Trump himself is great, the fact that so many people didn’t see to get that and instead just went, Proton CEO likes Trump! blew my mind

Upvote cause good point, but I have to really mention that OpSec is a black and white thing.
You make one OpSec mistake and you’re cooked. Look how they got Ross Ulbricht.
Meshtastic seems to me to be easiest to have good OpSec at the moment and I really hope we can develop it further.
Isn’t meshtastic unencrypted radio transmission?
It supports encryption. I think encryption is only forbidden when using ham radio

And he was also wrong about that point as well.
