    Given the above, I can’t really fault her too much. I would put more of the blame on Parks Canada.

      Really depends on what they said.

      Like another comment or said, having no record of something is not the same as no one has done it. It might be so common it’s not recorded.

      If parks Canada had said we have no records of someone crossing the island, then it’s on her for thinking that means no one has done it at all.
