A part of Florida I know of is slapping together “luxury” apartments as fast as can be, but as far as I know none of the ones finished in the past ~decade are at full capacity because no one, not even the students they’re assumingly targeting, can afford the rents.
Not yet. Housing supply is rising but prices haven’t started to drop. We may be about to repeat 2008 for housing. Especially in the south.
