My take is that both of them croak in the next few years and things, well, simply stay the same. We get some other buffoons and everything will continue as if it was always thus. And we’ve always been at war with Eastasia…

    • With regards to bodily health I’d say Putin is less likely to have health issues come up, given that he’s in decent shape despite being only 6 years younger than Trump.

With regards to likelyhood of being assassinated, I think it’s also more likely to be Trump given that the US Federal government is getting slowly destroyed and he literally needs that to survive any form of uprising

There are credible (but obviously unconfirmed) reports that Putin has cancer.

Trump is a lardass and old, but no specific health concerns are reported.

My grandfather is a fat greaseball who had a bowel rupture in the 90s and nearly died, and hasn’t improved his health in any meaningful way. And even nearly killed himself multiple times with falls that caused shit like brain bleed. he’s still around.

he’s a few weeks separated from DJTs birthday.

if my foolish grandpa made it this far, I would imagine Trump makes it to 90 based on having access to that 0.001%'er medical

The US president’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, has dismissed the idea of a European deployment or even the need for it.

    Fuck you, Steve.

We need to step it up according to his administration, but not like that, only enough so they have something to point at when they switch sides.

We’re supposed to step up only against people that are poor and brown. How dare we don’t bomb Yemen and america needs to bail us freeloading europeans out again. Putin though is supposed to have free reign so that the oligarch bribe money can flow freely.

I misread this title as “Russia will die soon”

… yeah, that might happen soon, but you can be sure they will take as many nations with them when that day finally comes… They’ve been acting like they know they’re a dying nation, and wanting to go out with a bang, on their own terms, for the last decade now. you see it in the absolutist, maximalist warmongering propaganda and rhetoric they spill.

As much as we all want this, not sure how much it’ll change. I don’t have the knowledge to make a guess on who would take his place and how bad that person would be.
