It’s because the point of society isn’t to root for bad businesses failing. It’s to ensure the just treatment of all people.

Isn’t it justice for bad businesses to fail?

      LOL wut?! Businesses aren’t people.

No, the market does not give a flying fuck about justice. That’s why we have a government.

The business owner will get rich, kill the company, then sell off the tattered remains, all while poisoning the groundwater – and the market won’t do a damn thing about it. The workers you don’t give a shit about deserve justice, good jobs, and fair treatment. That rich man deserves justice, to have everything he owns seized, including losing his freedom. A business is a piece of paper. It can’t feel a goddamn thing.

You and the market would just let them get away with everything they do, so long as they got rich. Those robber barons absolutely love bigoted suckers like you.

        Businesses aren’t people.

        Where did I claim that?

No, the market does not give a flying fuck about justice. That’s why we have a government.

Wrong. Government meddling is in fact the main reason why the market doesn’t correct itself as fast as it could.

Because it’s diversity for diversity’s sake. It encourages people to maximize on their unchangeable attributes like skin color or sexual orientation instead of any actual skills.
