I’ve been using Stardew mods on Linux since I first started using Linux, they’re pretty easy to manage manually and I use Stardrop to check for mod updates.

If anything though, it’s kind of made me hate Nexus Mods being a closed platform which forces you to pay a monthly subscription for API access if you want to do things automatically. I wish there was a more open mod host.
