President Donald Trump says talks to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine are “very well advanced.” And he says he's confident that Russian leader Vladimir Putin won't press to restart the war if a truce can be reached.

If he says that Ukraine started it he’d just as soon say Russia is keeping it’s word as their tanks cozy up to the borders of Poland.
