Agreed, I subscribe to the conservative communities for a balanced perspective, but most of the posts tend to be made by trolls that are hell bent on their puerile obsession for owning the libs. I’m pretty sure users of Lemmy aim to rise above this BS.

The few “conservative” subs I’ve seen post like once a day and they get downvoted regardless of the information. Hell the main conservative sub is now another place posting memes shitting on Trump since they had no active mods.

Yep, and look in this very thread. Someone calling out for mods because I posted a freakin’ article AP News. lol Not only does Lemmy lean too far left, many on Lemmy actively try to suppress any articles that don’t fit into their narrative–regardless of how accurate the article is or who it’s from.

But you don’t know me. And this community isn’t about me. This community is a political news community and I posted community news from an approved news org. So what seems to be your issue?
As long as the link is approved and valid, what’s it matter who publishes a link to a news article? Seems like a “you” problem, not my problem. You can easily block me or leave this community if you don’t believe certain people should be allowed to post here.
Last I checked tho, it was a public community.
