Anecdote, but I’m a patient at the VA, and half the dipshits in the waiting room have that red MAGA hate symbol stuck to their forhead. I’m assuming the lack of the hate symbol doesn’t quite equate to a lack of hate for the other half. When I was active duty, it seemed about a 50-50 red v blue split, but I was a medic in the Air Force, which is probably bluest slice of the military there is, so overall they definitely lean red. Also talking politics was highly dependent on who was in earshot, cuz that’ll get your ass chewed in a hurry, so my political field of view during my time in was tiny.

My wife has a work colleague who voted for Trump for the sole reason that she gets better care at the VA with republican presidents. I should ask how that’s going.

Well, the one marine I know voted trump, so that should put it somewhere around 100% based on the datasets avaliable.
