They want an explanation for why the agency took down information used for planning disaster relief, studying medical outcomes and helping at-risk populations.

Trump Admin’s answer: “homos and trannies aren’t critical, they’re expendable.”

Because they want to eradicate queer people. This is the first step. The Nazis took a similar first step.

A strongly worded letter seems to be in order.

Now now, there’s no need to go all scorched earth right away - look, they’ve already “demanded answers”. How much more strongly worded do you need?

Now, if they don’t get results in a few weeks, well, they might work with the Democrats to issue a statement of “concern”. Possibly even “very concerned.”

I doubt even the most demented of rapists and his pithed fascist hordes could withstand such an assault.

That might be considered “radical,” so be careful!

What if they use slightly terse language? A little below harsh language, but above mildly inconvenienced.

Deleting health information is an act of violence resulting in suffering and death.

Because it’s not the journalist saying it, but the CDC advisors

That’s an excuse. They know very well by putting it in quotes it automatically questions the veracity of it. As the previous commenter just, very naturally, did.
