        Probably not. But if it happens, in order to declared alive again (legally) you probably have to obtain the death certificate.

    Well the US Govt makes you pay taxes as a citizen even if you’re on a visa abroad. It shouldn’t be surprising that it makes you pay taxes in the afterlife too. You just need to prove you’re dead so they can update your home address.
