Hi, I’m also Terencio on mastodon.social and Sergio on lemmy.world.

Oh, awesome! Too bad I have a weekly gym meetup at that time…
They’re pretty fun. Except for the sexism, homophobia, and various other forms of bigotry. My favorite ones are those in which there’s some Satanic conspiracy to steal a soul by tempting them with a good time.
Looks like the kind of thing you’d drive in a parade.
Every once in a while the driver’s feet come out the bottom, he reaches his hands out the windows, and he picks the car up like it’s a dress being kept out of a puddle.
I think this refers to…
Shortly after the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War in July 1937, Izumo was attacked on 14 August 1937 in a series of raids by Chinese Air Force aircraft during the Battle of Shanghai. Most of the bombs landed in the river without effect, but two bombs landed among spectators, killing hundreds.[42] Izumo’s Nakajima E4N floatplane and another from the light cruiser Sendai managed to get into the air and they claimed to have shot down one Curtiss Hawk biplane fighter and a Northrop Gamma bomber. Two days later, her E4N claimed to have shot down another Hawk.[12][43] Izumo was attacked that same day by a Chinese torpedo boat, but the torpedoes missed and the boat was abandoned by its crew.
I learned a really valuable lesson in first grade. My friend Daniele had a really nice belt-buckle, but he was wearing it upside-down. I was like: Daniele, why is your belt-buckle upside-down? And he was like: so when I look down, I can turn it up and look at it.
Daniele was a pretty wise kid.
This actress is only in like 1-2 scenes. It’s mostly a Rodney Dangerfield vehicle. A pretty good one imho. It’s got a young Robert Downey jr as a supporting character and a great scene with Sam Kinison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9DO26O6dIg
looks like they have a show next week at Marienplatzfest
I want some escapism for fuck sake.
You may want to try subscribing to non-political communities, and then browsing by subscribe. For example, here’s a list of communities I subscribe to for when I don’t want to read about politics:
Most are currently active (except for the ones with a * which were less active last I checked) Sometimes politics, tech or memes sneak in but they’re not the focus.
GENERAL DISCUSSION / QUESTIONS
ART / PHOTOS

COMICS / GRAPHIC NOVELS

Most of these are currently active. (except for the ones with a * which were less active last I checked). Sometimes these include politics but that’s not the sole focus.
When he asks to see their code, they send him a single file.
Back to School - Marge Takes Notes scene.
Sounds interesting. Glad those topics are still being investigated. So important to remember that even those neural methods labored for decades in the shadows before they finally found the answers they needed.
Only did IRC a couple times… I think I got my first batch of anime through an IRC bot, come to think of it…
Aw yeah love me some dark ambient. The kind that makes NIN’s “Ghosts” sound like a pop tune. Great stuff to listen to late at night.
I personally agree. But if I pay for the cheapest option ahead of time, it hits different than a loved one deciding on the cheapest option for me, especially if they are grieving and a salesperson is offering them a range of options. Also, some people just want a big funeral for their own emotional reasons I dunno.
Killer sound, fam… wow, back from the days when USENET ruled the Net… Is this where you got your name from?!?
“discrete AI” (probably has a few other names)
Kinda sounds like you’re talking about Explainable AI too. Very interesting set of fields, but I’m pretty sure they’re all having funding problems too.
Good find, looks like it works in the US as well.
When I was a kid I checked out a book from the library called “101 Cult Films” or something like that. It was an overview of a bunch of movies, and I specifically remember that this film was listed in there with a brief description. And now, at last, many years later, my dream of watching this film will finally come true!!!
Nice, here’s an alt link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nXurq6eiYU
