Individuals have the power to block instances so I don’t really understand why people are pushing for defederation. Just feels like ruining the fun for everyone just because they aren’t having fun and aren’t using the resources they have to make it fun. Defederation should be a last resort, and people seem to want to use it for petty squabbles. I don’t like .ml or hexbear cause they’re both tankies, but I’ll just block the instances myself.
